Stephen looked at her thoughtfully. He was certain Nicole was simply playing along because Daphne
wanted her to be an idiot. She’s just trying to protect herself.

As she came here with Levant, and he adores her, perhaps they are really in love.

“Did you put up an act so could stay here with Levant?”
