Chapter 22

The next morning I woke up feeling surprisingly well, my usual headache wasn't there, and the
constant feel like I was about to die, was nonexistent...for the moment.

I showered and dressed into a casual black and flowered print dress, with black ballet flats.

I left my hair down, and put on some lip gloss.

I walked out into the living room to find Xavier sitting and watching Tv.

"Morning." He said without looking up from the telivison.

"Morning yourself, hey is that all you do? watch TV?"

"Yeah. When it's Adventure time." He muttered, still not looking away from the TV, where some pink
space princess was.

"How old are you again?" I asked.

"Twenty-three." He muttered, I think he knew what he had coming.

"You're twenty-three and you are watching a pink fat blob?"

"Hey, that's lumpy space princess!" He yelled, finally turning his head to look at me.

"Mmmh." I rolled my eyes.

"Wanna watch?"

"Yes."

After about three hours of Adventure time, I realized that I hadn't eaten dinner yet, so when the TV
show marathon was over I walked into the kitchen.

There was absolutely no food, except for three cases of beer, and a box of Eggo waffles.

Eggo waffles it is, and after a very nourishing breakfast Sin walked in.

Looking nice as always in his tight black shirt and pants, with his jet black hair combed and his icy pale
blue eyes alert.

His eyes darted over to mine, but then remained back on Xavier.

"There was movement out side the hotel last night. Mozhet byt' , ital'yantsy" (Could be the Italians)

"You guys do realize that I speak Russian, right?" I said with a sarcastic wink.

They both looked at me, "Sorry. Right. I forgot, well that sucks now we can't have conversations right in
front of you, while you being oblivious." Sin muttered.

"You never could." I reminded him.

"Right." He sighed.

"So the Italians?" I asked "They were here last night?"



"Da. Good thing we were out." Sin said, while running his hand through his gorgeous locks.

"Yeah, where did you guys go again?" Xavier asked, folding his arms over his chest.

Sin seemed to internally smile. "For a swim."

Xavier cocked an eye brow, "Isn't it like freezing."

I clenched my teeth, "It sure is."

I spent the rest of the afternoon in my room, playing with my new toys, aka...guns.

I looked in the closet out of pure boredom to realize, that I didn't have anymore clothes.

I had those causal clothes last night to wear to the beach, but those were now soaking wet.

I had this dress, but I hate dresses and this was the only clean thing to wear.

It was getting dark outside and I refuse to go to bed naked around a bunch of Horny ass Mafia men.



I had other clothes- I really did, they just kinda got...blown up in New York.

I walked out of the room, combing through my hair with my fingers.

"Sinister?" I called out walking towards his room, a few things that I didn't understand was that why
Xavier spent his entire day in this hotel room, when he has a perfectly good one next door. Slayer
keeps to himself, I didn't know why Xavier didn't.

I knocked on his door once before walking in.

And there he was.

Shirtless.

I forced my eyes to stay up to his face, even though I caught a glimpse of a beautiful 8-pack. Or was
that a 6-pack?

My eyes flickered.

Oh yup, definitely an 8-pack.

"Suka? What do you need.

I not to look at his gorgeousness in front of me, "clothes... I need clothes, my other clothes got kind of...
um... Blown up?"

He cocked an eyebrow at me, "you have no more clothes?"

I shook my head.

He shrugged and walked over to his drawer, handing me one of his button up dress shirts, "then wear
this to bed, suka. We'll get you clothes later."



I was about to argue when there was a loud pounding on the door, He over to the side table and
grabbed the gun.

"Get behind me." He growled.

I almost laughed, "get behind me? Are you serious? How cliché can you get? I've trained half my life
just killing people... I think I can handle myself."

He shrugged and walked over to the door.

With one calculated move he swung open the door, and pointed the gun at who was behind it. I knew it
was serious when I saw his face drain of colour,

"Get inside." He growled.

Suddenly I turned to see Nikolai.

His normally white blonde hair was now stained with blood, his right cheek bone was bruised a black
and purple.

HHis left outer most arm seemed to be bleeding.

I pushed past Sin and ran over to him, he winced as I led him over to the couch to examine his wound.

It must have been Shot by a MP-40 judging by the size and impact of the wound.

"You'll be fine." I said with a smile, "Just a flesh wound. The bullet shot through in through, no bone."

Slayer and Xaiver barged in, looking at Nikolai and then Sin they seemed to have a sort of idea as to
what had happened.



"Get me some painkillers." I instructed them.

Sin handed me a heavy duty first aid kit as I set out all of the dressings.

Using alcohol cleaned tweezers I got all of the shratnel and bullet that I could without damaging the
bone.

Then I sterilized the outer lining and rim of the wound, making sure he wouldn't get an infection.

I then bandaged his arm up tightly, making sure it wasn't about to fall off.

He bit the inside of his cheek all the way through it, but didn't say anything.

Slayer and Xavier came back moments later, "Is Paracetamol okay?"

I nodded as he handed me a little blue bottle, "Perfect."

I turned back to Nikolai who's sickly pale face was pointed in my direction, his eyes trained on mine.

"Take two of these every six hours." I instructed.

He nodded as he grabbed two capsules and swallowed them both without water.

I looked over at his nasty bruises and walked over to the freezer.

Pulling out a frozen solid Eggo waffle I handed it to him to put on his bruises. "Sorry, it's all we have. All
these dumasses seem to want to buy is Waffles and Beer."

"And guns." Slayer reminded me.

I laughed, "Yes, and guns."

"And C4, Drugs, and prostitutes." He said again.



"zatknut'sya ukolot'!" Sin yelled at him. (something along the lines of 'shut the fuck up you prick')

I raised my hands, "No its fine, I already know what you bastards do."

Sin grinned, "It's not like I care what you think."

I frowned and felt some part of me let out a sob.

I couldn't actually feel something for this creep? Could I?

But my reaction seemed to fuel him, "What did you think, Suka? Did you think I actually cared about
you?"

I blinked away everything and took a long stride towards him, pressing my stomach against his core, I
looked into his Icy eyes.

"I don't care what you think, Vy trus." I spat, and walked away.

(You coward)

That was the first time the thought ever crossed my mind...could I feel something for Sinister
Solvact?
