Chapter 33 Feeling Overwhelmed

Gabrielle got out of Justin's office after hours of discussions. He closed the door and looked at
Kendra's table but Kendra's was not there. He was looking around even Eric he did not see.

"Eric!!!Where are you?"

He looked out the window as he saw Eric and Kendra walking anywhere. He was so curious where
Kendra and Eric going. He looked at his watched and it was 12 noon. He felt so hungry, left out the
agency and started following them. Eric and Kendra were not aware that Gabrielle had been following
them. "This restaurant is so good. What do you think Kendra?" Eric was doing his best to cheer up
Kendra. Kendra started smiling.

"It is all right where we eat. I also feel hungry. Let's not choose. I think this restaurant is fine."

Gabrielle saw the two laughing each other and felt jealousy. He didnt understand his feeling at all. He
never felt that kind of feeling to all women he met. His heart knowing that Kendra was merely different
among all women he had met in his life. He did not want to believe in his feelings for her that it was
true. He did not want to let his emotion controlled his mind. He had plans to reach his business goals
but his heart beated so fast that he would get crazy to see Eric and Kendra laughing. He walked so fast
to reach them in the restaurant.

"These foods are so great.It is not so pricey. Simple but delicious How did you know this place?"

Kendra enjoying the foods so much while listening to Eric's story. Eric almost finished his foods.

"This is my favorite place to eat. I grew up in this place. Since I was a kid, I have been eating here. This
is my favorite dish. Try this."

Eric took his fork and showed Kendra what delicious food he actually meant. Kendra looked at it and
tried it.



"Oh my God, this is so yummy. Anyways, how long have you been working with Justin and Gabrielle?"

Kendra started to be curious on Eric's work relationship with Justin and Gabrielle.

"Kendra, I grew up in poor family. I have been working with Justin for almost years probably 5 years
something. Way back then, I did my best to apply all jobs available around here but nobody wanted to
hire me then I saw the travel agency newly built at that time. Boss Justin saw me looking around the
office space and he asked me to go inside. He offered me a drink and breads. He asked me what i was
doing in front of his office space. He thought I was homeless man looking for something to eat, then I
said I was looking for a job and begged him to hire me. He could hire me as a cleaner as he wanted or
a driver any job. Boss Justin has a big heart. He smiled at me and said if I wanted to start now, I could
start anytime. I haven't met such a kind hearted person like him. So here I am in front of you a cleaner,
driver, assistant, sometimes plumber in the office whatever title you name it."

Kendra was laughing hardly in front of Eric. Eric's phone was ringing. It was Justin.

"Oh no, Its Boss Justin. Can I excuse for a while Kendra?"

Eric stood up and answered the phone. He saw Gabrielle stepping inside the restaurant. Gabrielle
looked at Eric eye to eye. He pointed his finger to their table. Gabrielle saw Kendra waiting for Eric.
Kendra was still enjoying the food. While chewing the food, Gabrielle's hand cover Kendra's eyes.
Kendra felt the warmed hand and her heart started to beat so fast. Gabrielle whispered on her right ear.

"How's the food baby?"

Kendra could not speak at all. She felt so overwhelmed.

"You called me a baby. Why?Are boyfriend and girlfriend now?"



Kendra looking at Gabrielle wondered why he called her baby so she wanted to make a clear answer
from him. Gabrielle sat beside Kendra. Looking her eyes for long time and he kissed her on her lips. He
felt that warmed feeling on her lips and without hesitation he answered Kendra easily.

"Yes, Don't you want to be my girlfriend?"

Kendra felt overwhelmed when Gabrielle asked her to be her girlfriend. She did not know how to
answer it. Kendra popped up in her mind the truth about Gabrielle's plan to leave soon.

"I thought you will be leaving this country sooner or later. Do you still want to be in a relationship?"

Gabrielle was so surprised and wondering how Kendra knew about his plan to leave soon.

"Who said that?Eric?Of course it depends. I don't know yet Kendra but for sure now what I know is to
be your boyfriend."

Kendra didn't know how to answer Gabrielle.

"Of course, I wanted to be your girl friend. I would love to be your girlfriend."

Kendra kept kissing Gabrielle. Eric came.

"Ahem, Sorry.. I wanted to get my bag and Boss Justin needed me now. He also needed you Kendra.
He wanted to speak with you. Let's go now."

Gabrielle took Eric's bag and gave it to him. Kendra stood up.

"I think Eric and I have to go. We have lots of work to do. You may eat your lunch first here. Let's talk
later."

Gabrielle started to get annoyed and felt jealous of Eric.



"Eric, you better go. Can't you see that I am still talking with Kendra? You can make alibis to Justin or
told him that I am with her. Why didn't you even mention to him?What is the problem with you Eric?"

"Boss Gabrielle, calm down! You know that I can't make any excuses to Boss Justin. I am an honest
man. I already told Boss Justin that you are here and Kendra but Boss Justin insisted to bring Kendra
with me when I go back to the office. Boss Justin needed Kendra for some work to do."

"I will go with you Eric. You better calm down Gabrielle. Work is work for me. Personal life is personal
life. Don't make it too personal Gabrielle. You have to understand that we still have to be professional.
Though I am your girl friend now but you are still my boss and Justin. Our lunch break are finished. You
have to take your lunch and let's talk later."

Kendra kissed Gabrielle and left. Kendra and Eric went out the restaurant together.
