“Listen to me, Anna! As long as you're still alive, you are my woman! I won't allow any other men to
touch you!” Michael was staring at me with his malevolent eyes, and his voice sounded as though his

other than business? What about our son?”

questioned, “How is my son? Has he been living well?”

It had been a year since I saw my child. I had no idea what he looked like at the moment or how tall he

“When did you come in?” I furrowed my eyebrows slightly, too, as I gazed at him.

There was a hint of panic in my voice, though I hope my expression didn't fully express how I was



feeling at that moment.

“I've been here for a while, but you blanked out so hard that you didn't realize I've arrived.”
