mind could deal with the situation without losing her temper!

“I never knew you cared so much about me. I guess I should be thankful that Leanne appeared. What a
blessing in disguise!” Michael chuckled upon hearing all the angry remarks I spewed at him.

“Okay, okay. Don't you have work to do? I'll leave you alone now. I'm gonna clean up and head to the
office soon.”

The one-week break had ended, and it was time for me to get back to work. Me taking a week off after
starting working in a new company would have left a negative impression on the bosses. If I'm still late
