Chapter 304

When Savanna received a call from Leo, she was in great anxiety. Leo said that he would accompany
her to the northwest to find Brandon, and Savanna sent her location to Leo without saying anything.

Rex and Seth finally arrived at the place where Brandon and the others had an accident. There were
several broken by the gurgling stream, and traces of fighting could be seen.

Clearly, Brandon and the others had been attacked there.

Seth and Rex led a group of people to search the surroundings for several hours, but they still could
not find Brandon and Jim.

Rex was afraid of missing something.

Seth nodded.

asked, “Where is Brandon?”

“He‘s inside.” Jim pointed at the ruined church.

Rex rushed into the church. Under the several polished statues, there was a pile of straw, and

several people were lying on it.

The one in the middle was Brandon.

Rex immediately rushed over, grabbed Brandon‘s hand, and felt his pulse.

After taking the pulse, Rex untied Brandon‘s coat. Along wound stretched from Brandon‘s left shoulder
to his right abdomen. The wound was sprinkled with herbs, which were stuck with dark blood stains.



The wound was slightly swollen.

The herbs could not stop the poison from spreading. If Rex arrived a bit late, he was afraid that
Brandon would have died.

Rex began to observe Brandon. Brandon‘s eyes were tightly closed, and his brows deeply furrowed,
his lips pale. From that, Rex judged that Brandon should be unconscious and might not know that they
had come.

Rex opened the medicine box and took out the scalpel that had been sterilized. He asked Seth and

Jim to go out and then immediately cut the wound on Brandon‘s chest with the scalpel to detoxify.

Half an hour passed. It was not until the blood on Brandon’s wound turned red that Rex heaved a sigh
of relief and bandaged Brandon‘s wound.

After Rex finished dealing with Brandon‘s injuries, he began to treat the other three men, who were

Jim was lucky, and only his calf was shot. After Brandon was attacked, Jim summoned up his courage
to dig out the bullet from his calf with a knife.

Rex asked, “That group of people didn‘t chase after you?”

Rex‘s voice came from outside.

Brandon looked down at the gauze on his chest and sensed the smell of disinfectant. He finally

Rex immediately came in and met Brandon‘s lifeless gaze. He joked, “You are so lucky. Such a long
wound can‘t kill you.”

Brandon said, “Are you a dog? You can hear me even when I shout so softly.”

Rex laughed. “If I can‘t hear you, you will be in trouble. If I am a bit late, you will really go to see Yama.”

Seeing that Brandon was still able to chat with him, Rex deduced that Brandon had recovered quite
well.

Rex said more loudly, “You‘re willing to give up your life for love. I‘m impressed.”

Cloud Church.”

The young puritan glanced at everyone. Finally, his gaze fell on Brandon. He lowered his head and
bowed.

“Please wait a moment.”

After he finished speaking, the young puritan slowly walked into the main hall. He moved closer to the
fat puritan and whispered. The fat puritan sat still for a moment, and then he finished praying. He
opened his eyes, and his sharp gaze swept toward the group of people at the door.

He looked at Brandon in the end.
