Chapter 351

Brandon was afraid that Mandel would have postoperative complications, so he stayed in the hospital
until one in the morning. When Brandon returned to the Rose Villas, Savanna was asleep.

Brandon was afraid to wake Savanna up, so he went to another room to take a shower. After that, he
quietly got to bed and lay down next to Savanna. After a while, he turned and held Savanna’s waist
with his hands. Then he moved his body slowly toward her. Finally, he felt her warm and soft back.
Brandon smiled with satisfaction.

For Brandon, he could only feel Savanna’s breath and her soul when he held her.

Brandon rested his chinon Savanna’s shoulder. He sinelled the fragrance of her hair. Then Brandon
closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Savanna opened her eyes and listened to Brandon’s breath. She quietly looked at the starry night sky
outside the window and thought of the doctor’s words.

“Are you really the child’s mother?” Savanna had to admit that she felt pain when she heard what the
doctor said.

Brandon was exhausted, so he slept very deeply. Savanna gently removed his hands that were
wrapped around her waist. She got up and went to the bathroom. She washed up and came out of the
room.

Savanna tied hier lair back and put on cream when she went downstairs. Lizeth was cooking in the

kitchen. Last night, Seth told Lizeth liat Mandel’s blood type didn’t match Brandon’s or Savanna’s.



Lizeth glancedat Savanna’s face. Even though Savanna had put on makeup on her face, Lizeth could
see the dark circles beneath Savanna’s eyes. Lizeth knew that Savanna was in a bad mood and didn’t
sleep well last night, because Savanna found that Mandel was not her son and she didn’t know

where her own son was.

Lizeth thought that she wouldn’t fall asleepif she were Savanna.

Lizeth wanted to say something, but she felt that it might be inappropriate. Finally, Lizeth smiled at
Savanna and said, “Savanna, I made eggs and pancakes today.”

Savanna took a plate and washed it in the sink. Then she said, “Lizeth, make some oatmeal and send
it to Mandellater.”

Lizeth did not expect that Savanna would still care about Mandel after Savanna knew he was not her

Savanna saw Lizeth look at her in surprise. She smiled and said. “Mandel has been with me for so
long. In my heart, he is my son.”

Lizeth nodded and siniled. “Savanna, you’re a good person. Mandel is so lucky.”

When they put the food on the table, Brandon ran downstairs. He was in his robe and his hair was
messy. He just woke up and looked anxious. When Brandon saw Savanna at the entrance of the
kitchen, he paused and then smiled at her. Then he said, “I thought that you…”

When Brandon woke up, he didn’t see Savanna. He didn’t find her in the room and thought that
Savanna was gone. Therefore, Brandon went downstairs anxiously.

Savanna looked down at Brandon’s feet. Brandon saw her eyes. He lowered his head and found that
there was no shoe on one of his feet. He turned around and saw the slipper on the stairs. Before
Brandon moved, Lizeth went to pick up the slipper and sent it to Brandon. “Mr. Cassel.”



“Thank you.”

It was the first time that Brandon had felt so embarrassed. His ears turned red. Lizeth noticed it and
walked away immediately.

Savanna took a deep breathi and said, “Lizeth made your favorite pancakes. Come here and have
breakfast.

Brandon said, “Wait for a second.” Then he quickly ran upstairs and changed his clothes.

Brandon felt very embarrassed about what happened just now.

He sat opposite Savanna. He drank milk and ate pancakes.

Nobody spoke. The atmosphere was subdued.

Savanna quickly finished her breakfast. She put the cup and the plate aside. Savanna bit her lip and
looked at Brandon. She hesitated for a while and then asked, “Brandon, I want to know why our son
was replaced by Mandel. I remember that he stayed with you at that time.”

The atmosphere became tense. The whole room sell silent.

Brandon slowed down as he cliewed on the food. He looked at the table for a long time before he
looked up at Savanna’s sharp eyes. He thought that Savanna would ask him about it last night.
However, Savanna asked him after a night.

Brandon said in a low voice, “When I knew this thing, I was also very shocked. Savanna, I’m sorry. I
promise you that I will get our son back. Can you give me some time?”

Brandon had been thinking about how to get her back after Savanna left the hospital without telling
him. Brandoncared about their relationship. He was anxious to know why their son was replaced.



Brandon asked Jim to look into this thing last night.

Debbie and Giselle had been taking care of Mandel. After Giselle passed away, Debbie resigned and

went back to lier liontown. Brandon thourit that he would know the truth after he found Debbie.

Savanna answered, “I’ll give you time. But I feel worried and anxious when I think of our son. I dont
now where he is and whether he is alive. When I left you at that time, I thought that you could protect
our son. But…”

Savanna looked at Brandon’s eyes and said sadly, “I was wrong. I shouldn’t have trusted you.”

Tears welled up in Savanna’s eyes. “Of course, it’s not all your fault. I’m partly at fault. If I didn’t leave at
that time, things might be different.”

Savanna knew both Brandon and she were responsible for this thing. Brandon felt sorry when he heard
her words.

Brandon put the pancake on the plate. He didn’t want to eat. He pushed the chair away, got up, and
walked to Savanna. Brandon stroked Savanna’s hair and said slowly. “Savanna, trust me. I’ll find our
son back. I made a mistake in this thing. You…”

Brandon had never begged forgiveness. And he never apologized to others.

However, he loved Savanna. Brandon gave up his dignity.

He had never said sorry to others. But now he said to Savanna, “Sorry.”

Brandon held Savanna’s shoulder and let her stay in his arms. They held each other very tightly to
comfort eachiother.



“Blechi.”

Savanna felt sick and wanted to vomit. She covered her mouth with her hand,

Savanna could feel acid reflux. She pushed Brandon away and rushed to the bathroom.

Brandon paused and then frowned.

He went to the bathroom quickly. Then Brandon saw Savanna vomiting in front of the toilet. Brandon
went to take a bottle of water and opened it. Then he handed it to Savanna.

Savanna felt very uncomfortable. She threw up in the toilet for a while. When she felt a little better,
Savanna took the water and began to gargle.

“Savanna, you need to go see the doctor.”

Brandon was about to lift her up. Savanna pushed away his hands and said, “I just got an upset
stomach. I might have caught a cold last night. I’ll be fine after I take the medicine.”

Brandon looked at Savanna’s pale face and asked, “Are you sure you just got a cold?”

Savanna held liis trousers and stood up. She was shorter than Brandon. When Savanna spoke in front
of him, she felt unconfident and weak.
