Chapter 5: The First Encounter with Adam&##x27;s Love

Hearing this name, Rebecca froze for a while as if she had been struck by a thunderbolt.

"Yes."

Linda nodded graciously, "I can't walk by myself now, so would you mind taking me to the infirmary? I
hope it won't leave a scar."

"I'm sorry!"

Caroline apologized repeatedly and hurriedly stretched out her hand to support Linda.

"We'll take you to the infirmary now:"

"Okay."

phone rang.

She immediately pulled it out of her bag and picked it up.

"Adam.’ Hearing this familiar name, Rebecca felt her heart was twisted, which made her breathless.

"You may have to wait for me for a while longer because I had an accident and I'm in the infirmary
now.’

"A careless girl dropped a big suitcase down the stairs and hit my foot."

When she talked on the phone, it seemed that Linda had forgotten the pain and her face was full of
tenderness, happiness, and sweetness.

It made Rebecca inexplicably uncomfortable.



She finally looked out of the window.

"It's not serious.’

"No, you can just wait for me outside the school.I'm fine."

"Adam..."

Linda stopped talking perhaps because the caller hung up the phone.

"Miss Green, this is your treatment fee.I have something else to do.Bye."

Rebecca didn't want to meet Adam here, so she took out some money from her bag and was ready to
leave.

Linda immediately stopped her in anger, "Is that how you make up for a fault?"

Rebecca stood still.

"I'm sorry.Can I leave now?"

Linda sneered, "You're Rebecca, the youngest postgraduate of the School of Economics, right? I
thought you were excellent.But disappointingly, you're not even polite.’

"Miss Green, I've apologized to you and given the treatment fee.I gotta leave now.’ Rebecca chose to
ignore Linda's sarcasm.

"Your suitcase hit me.You can't leave until my injury is treated!"

Linda pulled her with an angry face.At this time, the door was pushed open behind her.



"Adam!"

Before Rebecca could turn around, Linda shouted excitedly.

Rebecca's body stiffened.

She really hoped that she had the ability to hide.

"Linda, are you alright?"

Adam rushed over to Linda and held her hand, ignoring the woman beside her.

"I didn't want you to come here.If everyone knows that you are my boyfriend, it will be bad for you!"

Adam squatted down and caressed Linda's head as he said in a gentle voice.Rebecca felt this scene
was so annoying that she wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Just as she turned around and was about to leave, Linda shouted, "Rebecca, don't leave!"

Rebecca could only stop.

‘Rebecca?’ Adam frowned and curled up his thin lips.

"Is she the one who hit you?"

Adam looked at Rebecca and asked.

Rebecca raised her head and met Adam's indifferent eyes.



"Yes, but don't blame her.She didn't mean it.’

"ls that so, Rebecca?"

Adam asked coldly.

Rebecca moved her pale lips and replied, "Yes, I didn't mean it! "Even so, you indeed hurt my
girlfriend"

Adam's smile was tinged with a touch of indifference.

"You should post an apology on the school forum.It's not difficult for you, right?"

"Adam, she is my schoolmate anyway, so don't make things difficult for her.’ Linda held Adam's hand
tightly and said coquettishly.

Adam turned around and lowered his head to kiss Linda's forehead.

Then he raised his hand and gently caressed her face.

"You are always so kind.I won't let anyone hurt you from now on."

Adam then picked up Linda.

"Adam, put me down.I can walk by myself!"

Linda grumbled coyly and struggled in Adam's arms.

"Be good, OK?"

Adam said gently, his eyes tinged with deep affection.

"But you just woke up from the coma!"



"I have fully recovered.If you don't believe me, you can have a check when we arrive at home..."

Hearing them flirting, Rebecca closed her eyes and felt feeble all over her body as if her strength had
been drained…
