"Professor Talty."

They walked to the parking lot and got into the car one after another.

Samuel also got in the car.

Just as they were about to go to City Vineyard, Rebecca stood by the car door and suddenly said to
Samuel.

"What's wrong? Rebecca.'’ Samuel poked his head out of the car, looked at her, and asked fatherly.

Samuel was nearly fifty years old.He liked Rebecca much.

"Professor Talty, I have something else to do.I won't accompany you to dinner tonight"

Rebecca had been Samuel's student for more than a year and knew Samuel well.

There was no need for her to beat around the bush when she talked to him.

So, looking at Samuel, Rebecca said directly.

Samuel looked at Rebecca and asked, "Really? It's rare that Adam from the Matthey Group is here
tonight.You two are young.There will be a lot of common topics between you two.'’ Rebecca smiled.

"Maybe next time!"

Although he wanted Rebecca to go, he couldn't force Rebecca as she didn't want to go.So, he nodded.

"Okay, next time!"

"Thank you.Professor, I'll send you my new thesis on Monday."



"Okay.Be careful on your way back home."

"Okay."

Rebecca nodded, took two steps back, and waved at Samuel.Samuel nodded, then closed the door
and let the driver drive.

Rebecca stood there still and looked at Samuel's car which slowly went away.

In a black Bentley not far away, Adam saw that Samuel's car went away, but Rebecca stood there still
and had no intention of getting in the car and went to City Vineyard.

His face became sullen.

A trace of uncontrollable anger surged in his dark eyes.

His phone kept vibrating in his pocket, but he had no intention of answering it.

"Mr.Williams, the Green Mountain Project..."

In the passenger seat, the assistant received an email.

He turned to look at Adam in the back seat and wanted to ask for his opinion.

But when he saw the sullen expression on Adam's handsome face, he immediately stopped saying.

He didn't know what was going on with Adam this afternoon.

Adam was like a child today as he was capricious.

The assistant felt that things were uncertain and inexplicable and didn't know what happened on earth.

"What's the matter? Say it!"



However, when the assistant was about to turn around, Adam said coldly.

"Mr.Williams, here's the budget of the Green Mountain Project.Do you want to see it now?"

Immediately, the assistant said respectfully.

“Give it to me."

"Okay."

The assistant said and quickly handed the iPad to Adam.

Adam took the iPad and read.

Originally, he was sullen.

After reading the content on the iPad, he became more sullen.

He didn't finish checking the Green Mountain Project budget at all.

He was only halfway through it but he threw the iPad aside and said in a deep and cold voice, "Redo it!
I want new and accurate budget data at Monday morning's meeting.If not, tell them all to get lost."

The data on the iPad was nearly two hundred million dollars more than the data that Rebecca made
last time.

In fact, after looking at the Green Mountain Project budget calculated by Rebecca, he got all the
information about the Green Mountain Project himself.

He calculated and his results were almost the same as Rebecca's.

The assistant looked at Adam with his heart full of fear.



The assistant immediately nodded, "Yes, Mr.Williams.'’

"Adam, where have you been? Why aren't you back yet?"

Rebecca returned to her apartment in Skyline No.1.

She was about to make dinner in the kitchen when she heard Linda calling Adam in the living room.

"Oh, then come back early.I'll wait for you."

Rebecca didn't know what Adam told Linda on the phone.

Anyway, Linda hung up the phone very quickly.

Then, Rebecca heard Linda shouting at her, "Rebecca, don't put chili in the food and make the food not
have a strong flavor.The weather is hot nowadays."

Rebecca turned her back to Linda as she was washing the vegetables.

Rebecca said, "Okay"

"Make me some chicken soup.I need foods of highly nutritious value."

Immediately, Linda ordered again.

Rebecca still didn't look back and said, "Okay”

"Peel the chicken.I don't want any oil."

Rebecca said, "Okay:'’

"What fruit do we have here? Get some for me first"



Rebecca finished washing the vegetables.She sighed in a low voice and said, "Okay.Wait for a
moment.'’

Then, Rebecca went to the fridge.She washed and sliced some fruits and sent them to Linda, who was
watching TV in the living room.

"These fruits again? I'm tired of eating them.Can you serve me other fruits next time?"

Seeing the orange and apple in the fruit plate, Linda leaned comfortably on the sofa, propped up her
chin, and looked impatient.

Rebecca didn't want to look at Linda.She just nodded and said "okay".

Then she turned around and wanted to walk away.

"Rebecca"

However, just as Rebecca turned around, Linda called her again.Rebecca stopped and waited for
Linda's order.

"When do you want to leave? Don't keep staying here so shamelessly.Don't you know how much Adam
dislikes you and doesn't want to see you? What's the use of keeping that marriage certificate with
Adam? Adam only loves me.I have his soul and body"

Looking at Rebecca's back, Linda sneered coldly and continued, "It will never change.'’

Rebecca stood there with her back to Linda.

When Linda finished speaking, Rebecca turned to look at Linda and asked calmly, "Miss Green, do you
have anything else to say?"

Linda looked at Rebecca and sneered again.Linda said with a hint of disdain.



"Rebecca, if you still have a little self- awareness, you should get out of here as soon as possible."

"Okay, then Miss Green, please go and say this to Adam's father."

After that, Rebecca turned around and walked towards the kitchen.

"Bitch."

Linda sneered.

Her words were clearly full of anger, "Rebecca, let me tell you, sooner or later, Adam will be in charge
of the Williams Family.'’

"Then let's wait for Adam to take charge of the Williams Family".

Originally, Rebecca wanted to say this to Linda.But in the end, Rebecca still didn't say it.

It was because Rebecca knew that this would bring her no good.
