That Man, Absolutely Deplorable

Byron looked at the two indignant children in front of him with a slight frown.

These two were obviously accusing him.

“Alright now. Estie has stopped crying, so you two should go back. I should go to work.” With that, she
let go of the little girl in her arms. She caressed her head and said softly, “Go back with your daddy and
come back to play with the brothers next time.”

Receiving her promise, a smile appeared on Estie‘s face after she had just cried. She nodded
obediently and walked back to her daddy. Byron‘s eyes darkened slightly. He could tell that she did not
want to talk about the topic just now. He did not continue to ask any questions.



Seeing Estie walk over with red eyes, he silently caressed the top of the little girl‘s hair. Tone much
calmer now, he said, “Say goodbye to the lady.”

Estie raised her hand and waved it at Rosalie and the boys. The three of them waved back. In the end,
Byron nodded at Rosalie.

“I‘ll bring her home first.” Without waiting for Rosalie to reply, he turned around and left with Estie.
