Chapter 481 Heart Melted Into A Puddle

Xander turned around and instructed, “Have them send the supplies in.”

The staff member complied before turning around to head back out.

Xander went out to take stock. Before he left, he rounded up Rosalie and Leon again.

Soon, the car that was delivering the supplies drove in, followed by three ambulances.

Don hopped off the truck at the very front and greeted the three of them respectfully.

It was the first time Xander and Leon met him, but they could tell that Rosalie had already met him.
Hence, they unanimously looked over at her and motioned for her to speak.

Rosalie understood what they meant and nodded politely to Don, asking, “Mr. Juan, what’s this…?”

Don smiled and replied, “President Quirke said that the children in the orphanage are very pitiful.
Knowing that the Lancers are here carrying out a free clinic, he sent me over to deliver some
supplies to the children. They’re nothing valuable, just some clothes, bedding, and the sort. We
would have sent medicinal materials, but President Quirke mentioned that the Lancers aren’t
locking in those, so he sent some daily necessities instead.”

Xander nodded and asked the dean of the orphanage to come and take stock of the items.

The Lancers’ free clinics were only to treat the children of their illnesses, and they rarely paid
attention to these matters.

Rosalie looked at the three ambulances at the back, “what’s with the ambulances at the back?”



Don explained, “All the ambulances are owned by the Quirkes* private hospital. President Quirke
said that the facilities at the free clinic might not be complete. If necessary, the children can be sent
to the Quirkes’ hospital. The Quirkes’ will give them free treatment. II

The three nodded with understanding, but their hearts were filled with suspicion.

Xander did not know anything about Rosalie’s private affairs. He only knew that Old Master Quirke
admired Rosalie very much.

Coupled with Andrius’ actions, he could not help but make a guess about the relationship between
Rosalie and Andrius.

Although Leon was aware of Rosalie’s past, seeing Andrius so thoughtful of Rosalie, he had to
doubt their relationship.

Rosalie did not notice anything strange about them. Although she found Andrius’ actions strange,
she still smiled and thanked Don. ” Young Master Quirke is very thoughtful. Thank you for the
trouble in making this trip. We thank you on the children’s behalf.”

Don hurriedly waved his hand. “This is what I should do. It’s no trouble at all. I’ll relay your words to
President Quirke.”

Rosalie smiled.

The dean rushed over quickly. When he saw a truck full of supplies, he thanked him again.

After confirming that the supplies were sufficient, Don did not linger any longer. He said his
goodbyes to them and left.



Rosalie and the others hurried back to their room again.

The children were surrounding Lucius, and there were a few cheeky ones who were mimicking
Lucius’ movements.

Seeing them come back, the children returned to their original positions obediently.

Rosalie looked at the children apologetically. “I’m sorry for making you wait for so long.”

The children shook their heads repeatedly. “We didn’t wait too long. Misters and Miss are working
so hard. You should rest for a while.”

Seeing how sensible the children were, Rosalie’s heart melted into a puddle.

“What did the Quirkes send over?’’ Lucio US asked curiously after noticing that they came back with
empty hands.

The three of them relayed what had happened just now to him briefly.

Lucius nodded his head slightly. He also found it somewhat strange deep down, wondering why the
Quirkes would treat these children so well. Then, he thought about how Rosalie was recommended
by them and could not help but make a guess.

Rosalie did not know a thing about what everyone else was thinking. She just devoted herself to
diagnosing and treating the children.
