Chapter 514

I Want To Play

The lights in the backyard were switched on.

The children were playing football outside. Estie lifted her skirt as she struggled to follow behind the
brothers. She did not manage to kick the ball once, but she still laughed from ear to ear.

“Mommy!” Nox kicked the ball toward the door, and when he saw Rosalie come out, the boy was
startled.

As soon as Rosalie stepped out, a ball was flying toward her. she was stunned.

Seeing that the ball was about to hit her, a hand stretched out and pulled her from behind.

The ball brushed past her and fell to the ground.

Byron came out from behind Rosalie, looked at the dumbfounded little boys in the yard, and said
solemnly, “Come in. It’s time for dinner.”

The boys slowly regained their senses and ran quickly with their tiny legs to Rosalie’s side.

“Mommy, I’m sorry I scared you. Are you okay?” Nox apologized carefully.

Rosalie patted the little guy’s head soothingly. “It’s okay. I’m alright, but be careful next time.”

Then, Rosalie paused as she thought of something. She first looked at Estie beside her in a relenting
manner, then turned and glared at the brothers disapprovingly. “How could you make Estie play
soccer? She’s wearing a skirt, what if she falls down?”

Hearing what Mommy said, the two little guys looked at each other and scratched their noses with a
guilty conscience.



Estie’s sweet little voice sounded aside, “They didn’t make me. I wanted to play!”

Rosalie raised her eyebrows in surprise, she did not expect her to speak up for Lucian and Nox.

She interfered because the little girl was running wildly with the two boys while wearing a skirt, which
was somewhat dangerous. Not to mention that everyone was already hungry and low on energy.

It was understandable for the kids to be playful, but Byron should know when to stop them.

Thinking of this, Rosalie subconsciously raised her eyes and glanced at the man in front of her.

The man seemed to have noticed her gaze and explained without looking back, “Estie rarely has the
opportunity to run like this, since she likes it, let her play.”

Hearing him say so, Rosalie naturally did not want to say anything else and took the kids to wash their
hands before entering the dining room.

The dishes were already a little cold, so Lisa warmed them up again.

Everyone sat down at the table.

The little ones were obviously famished. As soon as they were seated, they ate with fervor.

Estie looked at the brothers innocently and followed their example by lowering her head and gobbling
up her food.

Seeing this, Rosalie laughed helplessly and patted her two boys. “Eat slowly. Be a good example for
Estie.”

The boys glanced at Estie beside them and laughed out loud before obediently slowing down.



“Mommy, why did you come back so late today?” After eating for a while, one of the boys looked at his
mommy curiously.

Rosalie patted the little boy’s head apologetically. ” I’m so sorry. I was going to pick you up today, and I
also called Nanny Lisa to inform her. Then some work came up unexpectedly, so I lost track of time and
forgot about it.”

The brothers nodded sensibly. “It’s okay, Mommy, but if you want to pick US up in the future, let US
know or Nanny Lisa will worry about US.”

Their words melted Rosalie’s heart, and she agreed with a smile.

Nox immediately added, “In order to make up to US for the delay, you’ll pick US up every day from now
on,okay?”
