Luther only recovered from his shock after quite a long time. Then, he immediately phoned his master.

In the club’s private room, Byron did not speak again after he hung up the phone. Andrius took the hint
and just ate the cold food on the side.

When Byron’s mobile phone lit up, Andrius immediately glanced at it.

“Sir, I’ve looked into it.” Luther’s voice sounded very cautious.

“I see.” Byron hung up the call expressionlessly.

The temperature in the private room was as cold as ice.

Andrius was about to say something when Byron’s deep voice sounded in his ear.

“When did you find out?”

Hearing this, Andrius was stunned. He answered truthfully, “Yesterday.”



The moment he said that, the surrounding temperature seemed to drop again.

Andrius hurriedly defended himself, saying, “The Quirkes were also dragged into it yesterday and I was
busy solving our problem. I also didn’t know how to bring it up to you until today. Don’t worry, the
Quirkes ’ recent supply of medicinal materials is enough for Dr. Jacobs.”

Byron closed his eyes slightly as he suppressed all the displeasure he felt internally.

He had long known that his mother could not stand Rosalie and had witnessed their last confrontation
in the coffee shop. He should have realized that his mother would act against Rosalie.

would thus know about it.

The woman definitely already knew that this matter was tied to the Lawrences. Perhaps she was also
thinking this and thought that he might know about it.

The woman had already been avoiding him before this happened. If she were to have this thought as
well, who knew how she would look at him?

“The company has been quite busy during this time,” Byron replied succinctly.

Andrius nodded with understanding. Thinking of it, Aunt Melody would have also concealed from Byron
when she did this.

yesterday if I knew earlier on that things were like this.”

me. My mother won’t know that you were the one who told me about it.”

From where Andrius was standing, he could understand the reason behind why he had delayed it until
now.

The personal friendship between the two families was so good that when Andrius informed him about
it, it was like he was going against his mother.

Andrius frowned slightly. “Why would I bother with this? If I hadn’t personally witnessed your attitude
toward Dr. Jacobs, I wouldn’t have purposely made the trip here.”
