Chapter 304

The Culprit

The doorbell rang again.

Lucian and Nox glanced at their little sister subconsciously, then stopped Nanny Lisa, who was going to
open the door and went down by themselves.

The only person who would show up at their house at this time can only be the one looking for little
sister.

The two boys opened the door and were not surprised to see a man in a suit and leather shoes
outside.

Behind him, there was a man with a medical box who looked like a doctor.

“Where’s Estie?” Byron felt a headache coming when he saw that it was the two little boys who opened
the door.

These boys have a deep, inexplicable prejudice against him, and they might not let him in today.

The two little boys’ actions did not surprise him either. They blocked the door on both sides and looked
at him defiantly, “what are you doing here?” 1

They knew that Mommy did not want to see Bad Daddy. Now that Mommy has fallen sick again, when
she sees him, they are afraid she will be in a bad mood which might affect her condition.

The two boys thought about this and looked at Byron with firm, steady eyes.

Byron knew what the two boys were thinking and frowned helplessly. “I heard that your mommy is ill, so
I brought a doctor here.”



After speaking, he stepped aside to let Dr. Miller come forward in front of the two little boys. He
introduced them. “This is Dr. Thomas Miller, the family doctor of the Lawrence family.”

Dr. Miller smiled and nodded to the two little guys.

Lucian and Nox looked at each other and looked at the two men suspiciously. “How do you know that
Mommy is ill?”

Byron explained in his deep voice, “Miss Leigh Ann called me and said that Estie came to see your
Mommy.”

The two little guys were still a little hesitant.

They did not want him to go in to see Mommy, but he brought a doctor…

Byron noticed that the boys had loosened up and used Rosalie to drive his point home. “Your Mommy
only has you both to take care of her, certainly you must have been unable to take her to the hospital.
Let the doctor help Mommy, perhaps she will get better soon. Plus, Dr. Miller has great skills.”

The defense in their eyes gradually softened as they thought about their Mommy’s fever.

From morning to now, they just changed Mommy’s wet towel according to Nanny Lisa’s instructions,
but they have not seen any sign of improvement in Mommy’s fever.

Mommy could not get out of bed at all, and they were unable to take Mommy to the hospital.

Dr. Miller smiled elegantly and casually at them, but from the looks of this stranger, he seems reliable.

After hesitating for a while, the two little boys prioritized Mommy’s health, and reluctantly turned around
and walked upstairs, but left the door open for Byron and Dr. Miller.



Byron breathed a sigh of relief and led Dr. Miller behind the two little boys.

Upstairs, Rosalie waited for a long time for the boys to come back and was about to ask Nanny Lisa to
go down and check, when the brothers appeared at her bedroom door.

From the looks on their faces, Rosalie knew who came to the door.

Except for Byron, no one can make the two little boys pull such a long face.

Then again, what is the man doing here now…

Her fever should have something to do with the rain last night.

And Byron is the culprit that caused her to get wet.

She has made it clear that she hopes that he will keep a distance from her, but now this person
appears when she is so vulnerable…

For a time, Rosalie could not think of how she should face this man. she even prayed in her heart,
hoping that this man was only here to pick up Estie.
