Mr. Arison was the CEO of Boyd Corporation’s Sea City branch, and he was also the person whom
many businessmen in Sea City wanted to seek connections with.

A person with such a status would not collude with Adina to make a fake Instagram post.

Everyone in the meeting room looked at Dew with a more judgmental gaze.

“Ms. Dew, does this mean that you really sent your assistant to lie to Mr. Arison about Daugherty
Corporation’s reputation?”

Dew clenched her fists tightly. She let out a long sigh and said, “I didn’t… My assistant did it on her
own. It has nothing to do with me…”

“Even if my assistant didn’t treat Mr. Arison to a meal, Boyd Corporation would still never collaborate
with Daugherty Corporation.” Dew grasped at the last straw and said, “You can’t blame my assistant for
being the reason that this collaboration failed!”

As long as the collaboration was not successful, Adina would not be allowed to join the Board of
Directors!

Adina broke into a faint smile. “Mr. Arison is calling.”



She pressed the answer button, and a clear voice came from the other end of the line. “Ms. Daugherty,
the digital contract is attached in a file. I just sent the information about the project to your email.

“Thank you, Mr. Arison. I hope we have a good collaboration.” Adina smiled slightly. “I still have
something to deal with at the moment. I’ll treat you to a meal later.”

Adina held her phone and looked around at everyone in the room. “So, would you still like to chase me
out now?”

“No way!” Dew shouted. “Boyd Corporation has collaborated with the Jones family. Why would they
sign a contract with you? Stop pretending!”

“Dew, do you really hate to see Daugherty Corporation collaborating with Boyd Corporation? It’s a fact,
yet you still refuse to believe it?”

Adina snapped her fingers, and someone opened the meeting room door. Soon, her assistant placed
the printed documents in front of everyone.

“This is inside information about the Boyd Corporation project. If we aren’t their collaborators, we
wouldn’t have access to this. Dew, what else do you have to say?” she said coldly.

Dew’s face turned pale, and she bit her bottom lip really hard.

Her assistant had clearly sealed the deal with Mr Arison last night. Why… Why would this still happen
today?

“It was you! You purposely set a trap for my assistant!” Dew widened her eyes. “Mr. Arison has agreed
to collaborate with you for a long tinje, but you purposely tempted my assistant to have dinner with Mr.
Arison! Adina Daugherty, why are you so vicious? You actually set this up just to take me down!”

Adina shook her head. “So, everyone, do you also think that I purposely set Dew up?”
