“Earl is not the same as Duke. They are two completely different people!” Catherine yelled in a low
voice, “Before you knew Earl, he had already been with countless women. His female companion
changed everyday, and they are never the same. He‘s treating you well because he finds you fresh.
When the novelty wears off, you will be abandoned by him, like me.”

“Is that so?” Adina smiled. “I‘m more beautiful than you, and I have more dimensions than you. I don‘t

Catherine started shaking.

She had waited for Earl for so many years. She had waited for him to come out of the shadows, waited

But everything that she fantasized about was being taken away by Adina.

She refused to give in. She could not leave willingly..

“What if I say Duke is not dead?”
