"If you’re so dejected, why didn't you try to search for me?"

Duke said calmly, "The ones who searched for me and brought me home are Addy and my four
children.You're not worthy of being my mother."

Before he could say more, the four children frolicking came downstairs.He hid his cold expression and
said calmly, "I’m not a merciless murderer.Earl is still alive.He has only lost his freedom."

Mabel’s body weakened as she cried uncontrollably.

"I’m sorry, Duke.I have no other choice, you know that...I owe it to Earl.I owe it to him, and all I can do

"Grandma, what's the matter?"

Harold’s cheerful expression faded.He asked Mabel worriedly.
