‘Mel wouldn‘t joke about this.‘

‘Daddy has hired a hypnotherapist for Mommy. She has forgotten what happened four years ago. So
far, there are no side effects from the biochip either.‘ Melody said softly, “So, we shouldn‘t appear in
front of her so frequently. Or else, she might regain her memories.”

Harold frowned.

‘The side effect from the biochip has subsided , but she tried to slap me earlier...’

Melody looked at her brothers. “Daddy will have a way to bring Mommy back. Let Daddy handle this,
alright?” Alden nodded. “Okay, we‘ll wait for Daddy to bring her back, then.”

Melody only then let out a sigh of relief. She was afraid that her three brothers would ruin Duke‘s plan.
Ruth‘s gown was stained with red wine, and it was wrinkled after she tried to wash it away. She was
about to head back to the banquet hall, but she changed her mind when she saw how elegant and
noble those people were. She could only lift her skirt and leave, feeling regretful.

Just as she reached the entrance and waited for her ride, she heard someone‘s footsteps approaching
her.

“Ms. Willis!”

She turned around and saw a young man in an acid–blue suit hurrying over.

The light at the entrance of the banquet hall was dimly lit as it shone behind the man. He was tall and
attractive, like a prince coming out of a painting.

Ruth was stunned and found herself unable to come back to her senses immediately. She only came
back to her senses when the man stopped in front of her.

She instantly looked down at her wrinkled skirt. She had not been able to wash off the red wine stains
on the gown completely. A sense of inferiority and shame, which she had never felt before, rose from
her heart. As the daughter of the Willis family, she was very powerful in Cloud City. She had never felt
so inferior before.



But at the moment, when this man suddenly appeared in front of her, she suddenly felt agitated. “Why
didn‘t I change to another gown? I wouldn‘t have looked like such a mess.‘

“Are you Ms. Willis?”

Daniel looked at the woman in front of him, wondering why Harold had insisted on him delivering the
gown in person.

you. You can put it on and stay at the banquet.”
