Ninian looked anxious.

“Drink some water first.” Alden had already opened the thermos cup on the nightstand, inserted a
straw, and handed it to her.

Everyone in the room could not bear seeing her like this.

Harold could not help but took a couple of steps back and said, “Grapie, lay back on your bed. Don’t
worry about this! I’m a man, I will face my own consequences!”

Melody turned and looked at Alden with teary eyes. “Al…”

Alden shifted his gaze from them with a solemn expression.

The people around him might not know it, but he had been clenching his fist the whole time.

His gaze was as cold as ice as he said, “Lock Harold in the secret room. I will punish him with the thirty
strokes myself!”

Ninian became agitated. She almost fell off her bed.

Melody hurriedly supported her. Her face looked calm, but she looked worried, and her heart ached for
her.

“Al…” Ninian said as she grabbed Alden’s shirt. “Punish me… I’ll take the punishment…”
