Chapter 756

Adina turned around and saw that their conversation had become a spectacle. Her children along with
Karl, Peteand Flint were listening in around the computer.

She blushed.

“Don’t say things like that.I am going to hang up now.”

“I'll meet you tonight then,” Duke’s voice was hoarse.

“ Addy, I miss you.I want to see you." Adina blushed harder and her heart raced.She was afraid her
heart would stop beating, so she hung up the phone in a hurry.

“Huh, why did you hang up?"

"Mommy, Daddy hasn't finished speaking yet.Why did you hang up?” The children pestered her.

Adina took a deep breath and tried to calm herself before she walked to the living room.

“Don't monitor my calls in the future,” she said, trying to keep a straight face.

Melody tilted her head, as if she found this amusing.

“ Mommy, your ears are so red.”

“Mommy,are you shy?”

Harold teased.

George nodded.



“Daddy said he misses Mommy, so mommy must be shy." Adina was at a loss for words.

These brats knew too much.

Alden asked obediently, "Will Daddy come over tonight?”

"Oh yeah, Daddy will come to see Mommy.” Melody covered her face and laughed excitedly.

“I get to see Daddy too." Harold played with his fingers.

“I can finally see Daddy again.I’m so happy!” George coughed.

“Didn't you all hear what Daddy said? He misses Mommy, so he is coming to seeMommy only.We
better not be the third wheel.” Melody asked curiously, “George, what is a third wheel?”

“A third wheel is someone who disturbs Daddy and Mommy when they are dating,” George explained.

“But we won't disturb Daddy and Mommy when they are on a date.” Melody blinked pitifully.

“I'll hide in the corner and take a look at Daddy.” Tears welled up in her eyes.

Adina quickly crouched down and said softly, “Let's wait for Daddy to come over tonight, okay?”

Melody and Harold jumped happily.

Adina let out a sigh of relief.

Last time, that man had sneaked into her room late at night and the situation had almost…heated up.

The children will be with her tonight, so that man would not dare to mess around.

However, Duke did not show up that night.



The children waited eagerly for their father but soon grew tired and fell asleep on the couch.

Adina felt helpless and carried the children back to their room.

It was already past eleven at night.

Besides Flint, who was still playing games in the room, the whole mansion was silent.

Adina returned to her room to wash up.

As soon as she opened the door, she saw that the light in her room was turned off.

She frowned.

She was about to turn the light back on when someone grabbed her wrist.
