“Hal, it has nothing to do with you.” Melody hugged him. “It‘s not that Mommy doesn‘t come back, it‘s
because she can‘t come back.”

Alden narrowed his eyes. “Mel, what do you mean?”

Melody raised her head and looked at her brothers. She then schooled her expression and said, “Have
you ever thought that something might have actually happened to Mommy, hence she can‘t come
back?” “That‘s impossible !” George denied it coldly. “Nothing will happen to Mommy! That‘s
impossible!”

He would rather his mommy never come back than have anything happen to her. He hoped that his
mommy would live well in a corner of the world. “George, what are you thinking about? I mean...
Mommy might have lost her memories.” Melody pursed her lips tightly. “Because she‘s lost her
memories, and she‘s forgotten us and Daddy, she can‘t find the way home.” Alden looked at her and
softly asked, “Mel, did you know something?” “I...”

Melody was slightly speechless.

The result of the paternity report was not out yet, so she also did not know if the woman she saw that
day was Mommy.

She was 100% sure that she was Mommy, but what if she was not?

They had been disappointed too many times these four years. Whenever someone said there was
someone who looked like Mommy somewhere, the four of us would rush over overnight, but they came
back in disappointment every time.

She did not want to see her brothers disappointed again,



Once the results came out, she would give them a surprise!

“Daddy says there‘s news, but it’s not confirmed yet.” Melody clenched her fingers and said, “Since
we‘ve waited for four years, it doesn‘t matter to wait for a few more days.”

Alden nodded. “Mel, you‘re also tired. Go upstairs and rest.”

Melody was afraid that her brothers would see through her, so she quickly went upstairs.

“Hal, call Uncle Jake and ask about Daddy‘s schedule these two days,” Alden said indifferently.

Harold immediately nodded. Three minutes later, he walked over and said, “Uncle Jake said Daddy has
been on a business trip in Cloud City these two days, but he will be back soon.”

“Mel also went to Cloud City two days ago.” George frowned. “Is Mommy in Cloud City?”

“This is possible!” Something shone in Alden‘s black eyes. “I‘ll send someone to investigate the news in
Cloud City now.”

The sky slowly turned dark, and the four kids of the Winters family could not sleep.



Harold leaned on the couch in his room while holding an Al intelligent robot that simulated a real person
in his arms.

“Mommy, sing me a nursery rhyme.”

“Okay, Hal. Mommy will sing you Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.”

The robotic voice was so soft and exactly the same as Adina‘s voice.

The silicone – made face of the robot had the same smile as Adina‘s. It gently raised his arm and
patted Harold‘s back, while the soft nursery rhyme was heard in the room.

Alden quietly stood in front of the window in the room next door.

He was not as childish as Harold . He did not purposely find someone to make a robot that looked
exactly like Mommy, but he was also desperate to hear Mommy‘s voice. Therefore, every night, he
would stand there while quietly listening to Mommy‘s singing.
