"What's keeping you so busy?"

Jacob hugged Olivia and didn't wanna let her go. Now, he really wanted to be with her all the time.

Olivia was entangled by him. She touched his nose lightly with her fingertip and smiled, "Am I not
enough for you? You want a woman on each arm? Do you think your are an emperor with your
harem?"

"How dare I? I'm fine as long as you are by my side."

Olivia was flattered. She had to admit that men's sweet words could blind women.

"Don't bore me with compliments! It's Michael's call. He asked me to go back and record songs.
Everyone has put in a lot of effort on this album, and they all want to become famous. Besides, Nicole's
filmmaking company has just started. It needs to make something. I can only help with this album, so
I'll try my best."

Olivia looked at Jacob and she said earnestly.

Jacob knew what Olivia was like. She would do the thing she had determined to do.

"Alright. Let's get married when it's available. I heard that Tim had got married. Can you believe he was
one step ahead of us?"

Olivia pushed him away and walked out with her bag.

"I'll go with you."

Jacob quickly get changed and chased after her.

Samuel didn't know what had happened to Jacob. He threw away the cigarette butt and drove to the
south of the city. He was about to buy a piece of cake for Nicole.

After Nicole took her lunch break, she smelled the fragrance of food.

"What did you cook? It smells so good?"

It was Nicole's voice. She went downstairs and saw Samuel reading the financial newspaper.

Samuel folded the newspaper with a smile and said, "I cook the Duck Soup for you, but it still needs to
simmer for a while. You can drink it later."

"Duck Soup? You went to the supermarket?"

"I bought the duck at the market."

Samuel smiled faintly. Nicole leaned over and wrapped her hand around his neck. She sat on his lap
like a spoiled child and asked, "You're so good to me. What can I do for you in return?"

"Hey, come on."

Samuel pulled her hand down, but he was reluctant to let her go.

Nicole said and pouted, "What did I do to you? I can't sit on your lap anymore?"

"What are you talking about? Nicole, you wait. When I'm available, I'll also pester you."



Nicole ignored his words.

She glanced at him scornfully.

Samuel was depressed.

He was bullied, wasn't he?

"You wait!"

Nicole laughed.

Suddenly, she noticed the cake box.

"The cake is for your daughter?"

"I bought it for you. Hurry up and eat the cake before Zoe comes back."

Samuel handed the cake to Nicole.

Looking at the pattern on the box, Nicole asked with surprise, "Did you specially go to the south of the
city to buy these two pieces of cakes?"

"I just stopped by. Didn't you like to eat this chestnut cake?"

Samuel smiled softly. However, Nicole felt warm.

Just two pieces of cake could win Nicole's heart. If Samuel knew this, what would he think?



Nicole took a look at the cake. It was the one that she liked to eat. She was not reserved. She finished
it in a few bites.

Samuel looked at her dotingly. He brought her some water.

"Why do you eat the cake so quickly? This isn't a race."

"I'm afraid that your daughter will come back and see the cake. She also likes it."

Nicole said as she ate. Seeing her choked, Samuel hurried to get her some water.

She felt comfortable after drinking the water.

"Slow down. It's still early. Zoe won't come back so soon."

Samuel patted her back.

"Be gentle. My back still hurts," said Nicole, frowning at him.

"Alright."

Samuel said quickly.

Just as Nicole was about to say something, Olivia called her.

"Nicole, I am back to City B. I need prepare for the recording. It is urgent. I heard that an actor from
your company had a scandal. Did it blow over?"

Nicole said with a sigh, "Not yet. When Daisy gathered the evidence, we will hold a press conference to
clarify."



"You are not anxious at all! Almost everyone on the Internet cursed that actor. You should deal with this
as soon as possible. Otherwise, it will be a hard nut to crack. By the way, is it possible that someone
set him up? Otherwise, how could it be so coincidental?"

Olivia was puzzled.

Nicole said indifferently, "No matter who tries to frame him, he will be fine."

"Why didn't you tell me that something happened to your company?"

Samuel frowned.

Why didn't she tell him about it? What was he to her?

Nicole said indifferently, "Don't worry. It's not a problem for Daisy. We'll be able to handle this."

"Darling, I don't think you need me anymore."



Samuel held her tight.

Nicole suddenly laughed.

"Come on. If I can't, I will turn to you. I just feel you are too tired."

"My pleasure, darling. I'm not a bit tired."

Samuel was trying to butter her up.

However, Nicole was in a good mood.

"Alright. I'm going to take a shower."

"OK. I'll wait for you and then let's go out to watch a play."

"What? Watch a play?"

Samuel didn't answer her.

of the cake.

After changing into more comfortable clothes, Nicole went downstairs. Samuel also dressed up, so she

"Then let's go."

Nicole and Samuel got into the car.

They went to the hospital.

Although Nicole was curious, she didn't ask any further.

Not long after they entered the hospital, Nicole saw Mr. and Mrs. Bush rushing over, followed by the
prison guards.

"What happened?"

Nicole tugged at Samuel's sleeve and asked softly.

Samuel smiled and said, "Isn't Melissa suffering from acute kidney failure? I had someone spread the
news to your parents. I'm afraid they will be disappointed."

Nicole understood what Samuel meant.

"Are you sure that Mrs. Bush didn't give birth to Melissa? Did you have her paternity test results?"

"The answer will become clearer soon. Melissa is in serious condition and she needs a kidney
transplant as soon as possible. At this critical juncture, Mr. and Mrs. Bush will probably risk their lives
for Melissa. Whether they are her biological parents or not will soon be revealed."

Samuel's voice was flat and he looked around coldly.

Nicole did not plead for mercy for her foster parents.

Soon, the nurse walked out of the operating room.

"We are her parents."

The nurse whispered, "Who are you?"

"We are her parents."

"Who is Rh-negative blood type? Your daughter needs a transfusion. She is bleeding internally. Her
condition is dangerous."

The nurse was about to leave when Mr. Bush grabbed her.

"Wait. What blood type is my daughter?"

"Rh-negative blood type! It's commonly known as panda blood. It is very rare and we have a great
need for it. Since you are her parents, one of you will certainly save her with your blood. Hurry up!"

The nurse's words made Mr. and Mrs. Bush stunned.



"Impossible! Neither of us is Rh-negative blood type. How could Melissa....?"
