Chapter 1628 You’re Not Me, How Do You Know What My Joy Is

"Alright, you’re already a mother of four kids, stop crying like a baby."

Although Olivia was smiling, tears were welling up in her eyes.

That could be their last time of saying goodbye to each other. Olivia felt sad too, but she knew Nicole's
life was already complete with Samuel’s protection and her children’s company.

And she needed to find and maintain her life, her happiness.

A best friend was to stand up when her friend was suffering and retreated silently when her friend had
got her happiness.

She hugged Nicole tightly and whispered, "Bless me, Nicole. If God allows, I hope you can hold a feast
when my child turns one-month old."

"Sure! I'll cook! Promise me you’ll come back safe and sound!"

Nicole could no longer hold back her tears and her tears flowed down.

Olivia nodded.

They left Country F quietly and didn't attend Zayn's wedding in the end. Zayn didn't blame them.

Tim actually wanted to find Jacob too, but Olivia said that she needed no one.

Jacob was her husband and the father of the child in her belly. She was bound to find Jacob with the
child. The rest of them all had families now, and Evelyn and the gang all needed the men's care. Olivia
appreciated their kindness, but she refused to let them come along.

When Olivia left, Samuel and Tim were still worried. Both of them called Morty, hoping Morty could
send someone to protect Olivia in the overseas battlefield. They also requested to find Jacob on their



own.

At first, Morty disagreed. After all, Samuel and Tim had retired. They were the best soldiers and his
trump cards which he only intended to use until the last and most critical moment. However, Samuel
and Tim had special feelings towards Jacob, and they were particularly assertive in their request. Morty
finally consented.

Nicole and Evelyn didn't stop them. Instead, after the order was given, they made delicious food for
their husbands.

Tim looked at Evelyn and said with some guilt, "Eve, would you blame me? Last time when you lost
your child, I wasn’t by your side. This time you’re pregnant, and I still have to leave you for a while. I
have too much guilt towards you, I'm not a good husband, but..."

"It’s okay! Last time you were for Nicole, and this time you’re for Jacob, I understand you. Since I
married you, Tim, the one I fell in love with is you. No matter what decision you make, I will support
you. I hope you can come back safe, and watch the birth and growth of our child with me. But if there’s
any chance you can’t, Tim, listen, I, Evelyn Mason will have you in my heart and stay with our child all
my life and never marry again!"

Tim choked the moment he heard Evelyn say so.

He hugged Evelyn tightly, very tightly. He really wanted her to be part of him so he could take her away.

He sometimes thought that in this life, although God did not give him a complete family or a pair of
loving parents, he had given him such a considerate, strong and independent wife!

"Give me a week and I promise to come back alive to see you and the child."

Tim said word by word. That was a promise and a vow.



Evelyn nodded, and she still did not dare to let her tears flow down.

She was afraid!

She was afraid that Tim won't bear to leave once she cries.

She knew how important Jacob was in Tim's heart better than anyone.

That was his brother!

If he had the ability to save him but had given up this opportunity because of Evelyn, Tim will definitely

What she wanted was to let him live freely!

"I'll wait for you!"

Evelyn smiled. Her teary eyes touched the people's hearts, and with the most considerate tenderness
in the world, they wrapped around Tim's stony heart tightly.

Nicole and Samuel did not act as serious as Evelyn and Tim. Nicole prepared some food and medicine
for Samuel, and blabbered, "These drugs will save your life on the battlefield, I’ve specifically asked my
brother for them. Don't lose them. Remember to take them with you when you go out, okay?"

They had experienced life and death situations many times. Nicole believed Samuel would come back
safely. He definitely would!

Jacob was his brother and more importantly Olivia's husband. She had no reason, and would not stop
Samuel to rescue him.

Nicole actually wanted to go too, but she knew she must stay.



That was because many things were still not clear, Evelyn and Phoenix still needed her care. Her
responsibility was no less than Samuel and the gang’s.

Listening to Nicole's nagging words, Samuel hugged her and whispered, "I'll take the food and
medicine with me always, you don't have to worry about the rest. This rescue is just to find Jacob and
the gang. As long as we find them, we'll come back immediately. We won't come in contact with the
enemy face to face. Don't worry. You and the children are still here, I can’t bear to lose my life."

Sensing the warm and broad chest behind her, Nicole leaned against his chest and said softly,
"Samuel, I think you’re in fact yearning for the battlefield? You’re an eagle and you belong to the sky,
but because of me and the children, you broke your wings and stayed with us on the ground. I’ve held
you back."

"Nonsense. You’re not me, how do you know what my joy is? No matter what others say, my greatest
wish in life is to have lots of children and grandchildren, and spend the rest of my life with you together.
I don't care about everything else. I admit I like battlefield, but when compared to you, I like you and the
children more. Haven’t we all agreed on this? After saving Jacob and the gang, we'll stay in Country F
permanently. After that, you can ask Zayn to grant my brother-in-law some kind of ‘royal highness’ title."

Nicole couldn't help laughing when she heard Samuel say so.

"Aren’t you embarrassed?"

"Who would in this world? Besides, I’ve supported Zayn with two billion dollars to rebuild the country.
Why can't I buy a prince’s title?"

Samuel's words relieved Nicole's mood a little.

"You always have a way to ease worries."



"It's not a too worrying thing in the first place anyway. When Tim and I go to the battlefield, the ones
who should be worried are not us, but the enemies. So wait for me at home, and stop worrying. Just
remember that your husband is the best."

Nicole smiled, turned around and wrapped her hands around Samuel's neck. She looked at Samuel
