Chapter 1744 This Feels So Good

It was Michele!

Yasmeen had dealt with Michele for so many years, and she knew best what kind of engine her car
had. Now it was too late for her to leave. But what would Lucas do if she and Michele got into a fight?

For a moment, she was in a bit of a hurry, even thinking that she might as well fight with her.

Suddenly, a pair of slender fingers gently gripped her wrist.

Yasmeen looked back and heard Lucas say, "Go to my room and stay there. Don't come out without my
orders."

"But ..."

"Do as I say!"

She looked at Lucas and then quickly went upstairs to his room, while Lucas quickly got up and
cleaned up the things Yasmeen had eaten.

He had just sat down when Michele came in in a hurry.

When she saw Lucas sitting on the sofa watching the military news, her face, which had been red as
she ran in a hurry, eased somewhat.

"Lucas."

She called out to Lucas.

Lucas didn't say anything and didn't turn around, but remained engrossed in watching TV.



It was then that Michele remembered that Lucas's ear had not yet healed.

Yasmeen hid in Lucas's room and listened and watched secretly. Although she knew it was wrong to be
like this, she just wasn't comfortable with it.

Now she was suddenly a little happy to see that Lucas was still pretending not to hear.

Michele, unaware that Yasmeen was there, came to Lucas and turned the TV off.

"Isn't identity enough to say everything? Yasmeen is from Country Y!"

"So what? I believe her! I believe she won't harm me! I believe she won't hurt this country! And I
believe that one day when her country is in trouble, she will protect this country and its people just like
you and me! Because this is her second home! Because Uncle Steven and Auntie Ashley are good
people! Because I believe in the upbringing and virtue of the Bradford family!"

Lucas' words froze Michele directly on the spot and made Yasmeen fervent.

Ever since the day she knew who she was, there had been many people who were superficially nice to
her, but actually guarded against her. Because she was not from Country Z, and she was the princess
of Country Y.



Yasmeen couldn't change who she was, couldn't say how she felt about the country, but Lucas
understood her.

the friendship between us."

Michele really couldn't stand this time and fell straight onto the sofa. She finally couldn't restrain herself
from crying out.

"Lucas, they say that the men of the Green Family are infatuated. We've known each other for over
twenty years, but now you're breaking off with me for Yasmeen. How could you do this to me? You
know full well that I ..."

"Your feelings for me are fruitless. Michele, as I said, I just think of you as my sister. You should not be
too obsessed. Let go of your obsession with me, and you will find that there are others around you who



are more worthy of your cherishing."

"Then can you let go of your obsession with Yasmeen and turn around and look at me? Can you?"

Yasmeen.

Michele never thought she would one day speak to Lucas like this.
