Chapter 1568 No Even Enough

“Honey!”

She must be ashamed at the moment, for she was originally poisoned and doubted Tim wasn’t loyal
enough to her and he loved Nicole more than her.

His affection to her changed as well as Tim and Nicole became family members. It was Evelyn who
was petty-minded and unconfident. Martin took this opportunity to deepen her suspicion and nearly hurt
Tim and Nicole, as well as Tim who would leave the Seapolis City and accompany her to soothe her

Tim was concerned about her crying, so he comforted her tenderly. His move embarrassed Nicole and
Samuel nearby.

“What are you doing actually? Showing off your romantic love is easy to us, but please mind
yourselves.”



Samuel was more or less jealous of them.

Nicole laughed and subconsciously came to Samuel and primmed his sleeves and said quietly, “What
should I do? I also kill him. Will you blame me?”

“You are confident that I can handle it, right?”

Samuel was a bit unhappy.

He knew Nicole did that because Tim was her cousin, but he felt not good when recalling how arrogant
Tim was to him.

Nicole hurried to say, “Well, my fault. You can punish me at your will later.”

Then she blinked with unknown intention, and Samuel felt a surge of unease.

He pulled Nicole into his bosom and said as if nobody was around there, “It is your promise. Don’t beg
for my mercy.”

Nicole recalled of something and she flushed.

“I know it is Mr. Steven’s land, and I think Martin’s death can be well handled in light of the relationship
between you and him. Also, my grandma’s cousin will not acknowledge his existence and position, so
no one dares to support him. Even Nick cannot do anything to turn the table.”

“So, you have got clear of everything.”

Samuel shared the same idea, and he just wanted to please her.

Nicole gave a bashful laugh, sensed that he was still unsatisfied, so she hurried to be on tiptoes and
kissed his face. Then they found two people were watching them.



Samuel looked up and saw Tim was holding Evelyn and they were looking at Samuel and Nicole. They
smiled, “It is not a good habit to show off your love in public.”

“Go away. Who starts it first? Don’t you know? And don’t you come up with a way out after you screw
up and leave a pile of trouble on me?”

Samuel was a little unhappy.

Tim laughed, “Yes, Nicole has said it is Steven’s land, and your relationship is powerful enough to
handle the death incident of Martin. I am your uncle, so will you refuse to help me? Your assistance is a
way out for me.”

Samuel wanted to fight him.

“Tim, can you mind your behavior”

“I only have to mind my wife.”

Tim then said to Nicole, “Madam, let me take my wife out. Thank you and your husband.”

The “husband” was stressed and it angered Samuel.

But there was something that should be done. Samuel gave up and sent a message to Steven.

Martin’s fellows calmed down gradually and they were scared of the conversation between Tim and
Samuel.

“Sir, we are forced to do so. Please spare our life.”

Someone plucked up.



Others followed suit.

Samuel rejoined coldly, “Despite the control by poison, you have helped Martin do numerous bad
things, so you should go to the police station and confess your wrongdoings. Don’t cover anything, and
I will arrange someone to get it clear. After that, you will be sent back. It is the first and the last chance.
If the similar incident happens next time, you will spend the rest of your lives in jail.”

Hearing that Samuel would give them a chance, everyone was grateful to him and came to appreciate
him. They listened to Samuel’s order and went to the police station.

The courtyard became quiet suddenly.

Martin plotted for his whole year, yet none of his family members stayed with him as he was dying. Too
miserable it was.

Nicole looked at the body and said in a low voice, “What a cunning ‘hero’! He is killed mysteriously. Isn’t
it an irony?”

Samuel held Nicole’s hand and whistled, “What he has done must be punished by the Heaven, no
matter how atrocious and cruel he is. Those lives lost must be paid off. He deserves it, and I will ask
someone to burn his body and bury it somewhere. People like him shouldn’t be commemorated by his
offspring. Just look at Tim, he doesn’t acknowledge Martin is his grandpa. So, what is gone is gone.”

“Okay.”

Nicole nodded.

Martin ought to thank Tim as the former could live a peaceful life. Otherwise, he could never pay off the
debts for what he had done even though he died for one hundred times.

“Well, someone else will handle this matter. Where’s Lucas?”



“I gotta talk with you.”

Nicole hurried to tell Samuel that she found Laurence and Cara, the change of the latter, and the story
that she asked Evelyn to send Lucas out.

Samuel frowned and turned serious.

“You mean Laurence has become insane without any reason?”
