Chapter 1259 Fight for It or Give Up?

"Where can I find the evidence?"

Juliana was desperate.

Samuel sneered and said, "Either you give me evidence, or you die. Choose one."

"Can I leave this place to look for evidence?"

Juliana carefully looked at Samuel, feeling anxious.

Unexpectedly, Samuel nodded and said indifferently, "Three days. If you don't find any evidence in
three days, I will find you no matter where you are. Don't doubt my ability."

Juliana wanted to cry.

How did she get involved with this cruel man?

"Do you think my body can recover in three days? Let alone looking for evidence, I..."

"Emory's people are all capable. Are you saying that you are not one of them?"

Since Samuel said that, Juliana had to keep silent.

Zoe stood in front of the French window and looked at Juliana. She sighed and said to herself, "Is it still

She shook her head and walked into the room.

Samuel took a sample of blood from the bed sheet and handed it to Joseph.



"Check if this DNA is registered. If it is, find out its identity."

Joseph was slightly stunned, then nodded.

After coming out of the ancestral hall, Samuel didn't seem to be bothered by what he had said before
and assigned him more work.

Joseph felt complicated now. He didn't know whether he should be happy about it or not.

He liked Samuel and knew that Samuel was good to him, but what happened to his parents did affect
him.

He pretended so well in the past. After everything exposed in the ancestral hall, Joseph thought that
Samuel would send him far away, never let him get in touch with the core things. However, Samuel did
the opposite, which made him more confused.

"What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

Seeing Joseph confused, Samuel asked coldly.

"Nothing. It's just DNA testing requires one and a half to three days, and I don't have any equipment
here."

Joseph stopped shilly-shallying. He looked at Samuel and said frankly.

Samuel pondered for a moment and said, "Make a list of the equipment you need. I'll send someone to
get it in an hour."

"Okay."

Joseph nodded.



Samuel turned around and was ready to leave.

"Daddy!"

However, Joseph stopped him.

"What?"

Samuel slightly raised his eyebrows and looked at Joseph.

"Nothing."

Joseph quickly turned away.

He didn't know why he called Samuel. For just a moment, when Joseph saw Samuel's lonely figure, he
felt a little sad.

However, Samuel suddenly laughed and whispered, "Have a good rest. Tomorrow, I will take you to
see your late father."

His words suddenly made Joseph touched.

"Yes."

Their conversation ended.

Samuel walked out of Joseph's room and saw Nicole looking at him in the hallway. He couldn't help but
walked over quickly.

"Why did you come out? Didn't I tell you to take a good rest?"

"What happened exactly between you and Joseph?"



Nicole was sensitive. Although they said nothing, she could still feel that something went wrong with
them.

Samuel smiled and put his arm around Nicole's shoulder. He said softly, "Everything is fine. Joseph has
doubts in his heart. I believe time will give him answer. He will know who truly cares for him."

"He has doubts? What doubts? Why don't I know?"

Nicole instantly became nervous.

Samuel rubbed her head and said, "Nothing. Don't worry about it. This is a matter between men. We
will solve it ourselves, Okay?"

"What man? Joseph is only five years old."

"He is still a man. He is Vincent's son."

Samuel became serious.

"Thinking of Vincent again? We are not far from where he died. Do you want to go to take a look
sometime?"

Hearing Nicole said that, Samuel immediately smiled and said, "That's what I thought. I just told Joseph
that tomorrow I will take him to Vincent's tomb. You and Zoe can wait for us here."

"Let's go together. After all, he was your brother, and we don't have anything to do here."

Nicole thought that it was better to stay close with Samuel.

It was too dangerous out there. Who knew what would happen to them if they separated? It would be
better if they were all together, in case that something really happened, they could look out for each
other.



"Alright."

They returned to their room as they were talking.

"Oh right, I forgot to tell you. Gabrielle gave birth to a son, 7.7 pounds. Blair was so excited."

Nicole quickly told Samuel the good news.

If Gabrielle hadn't sent her a message to tell her, she wouldn't have come out looking for Samuel, and
bumped into him and Joseph.

Samuel paused for a moment, then said with relief, "Blair has finally got what he wants."

"Yeah, they have a child. Their family is complete now."

Nicole thought of her body and Samuel's vasectomy, she couldn't help but felt sad.

In fact, she really wanted to let Samuel experience the feeling of being a father. After all, Lucas and
Zoe were separated from him because of the misunderstanding back then. Samuel had never been in
their life for their first four years since they were born.

This must be Samuel's lifelong regret.

Samuel noticed Nicole's low mood, and he knew the reason. He indeed was very regretful, but that was

Samuel's sudden praise made Nicole blush.



"Stop it. What are you talking about?"

"I'm serious. You really look beautiful. Why don't we go into the room so I can take a closer look?"

Samuel teased, suddenly picked up Nicole and walked directly into the bedroom.

Nicole still wanted to struggle, but was suppressed by Samuel's strength, and then Samuel kissed her.
The kiss was potent but also tender.

She was undressed by Samuel unconsciously, and could no longer control herself later.

The next morning, Samuel woke up before Nicole.

Samuel kissed Nicole on the forehead, then got out of bed.

He nodded and went back to his room to clean himself up and get dressed.

Samuel took a shower later and changed his clothes. When he came out, Joseph was already waiting
at the door.

"Let's go."



Samuel ran first.

Joseph quickly followed up.

It wasn't long before Joseph felt a little exhausted. He looked at Samuel, his breathing was still normal,
did not look tired at all.

Joseph frowned slightly but did not say anything. Instead, he gritted his teeth and closely followed,
sweating heavily.

Seeing Joseph like this, Samuel said, "Your Daddy was like you when he was a child, running behind
me. Every time when he got tired, he would just quit. I remembered that the instructor was very strict,

Joseph listened quietly.

He felt that Samuel was making things difficult for him.
